One could argue with a great deal of certainty that Barrack Obama is the most divisive and dangerous President in American history. His ultimate goal of furthering the socialist agenda in America has been underestimated and continues to be underestimated to this day. I have heard members of the Republican party refer to him as a weak President but I submit that his actions are not undertaken through weakness but rather a thoughtful and calculated march towards his ultimate goal of the destruction of capitalism in America.
The platform he ran on in 2008 was one of “change” and rest assured that is his goal, to change America as we know it. He is not interested in governing this great Nation, his interest lies solely in the transformation of America into a socialist welfare state. Let’s examine some of the instruments of policy and rhetoric that he has utilized in the furtherance of this goal. In 2010 we were faced with The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), better known as Obamacare, the much heralded salvation and overhaul of the healthcare system, and its patently obvious unconstitutional mandate for insurance which I am fairly certain the Supreme Court will strike down with its ruling on Thursday.
This program was passed with much fanfare and without the close scrutiny of the media or Congressional members, many of whom had never even read the bill. This was Obama’s attempt to move us towards a system of socialized medicine which had already been shown in many parts of Europe to be an abject failure. This was also in the early stages of the class warfare scenario insisting that the healthy citizens should be paying for the treatment of the sickest in our society.
Enter, in September 2011, the fiasco comically referred to as the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement and its off shoots in cities across America. Under close scrutiny the members and organizers of the OWS movement were a virtual “who’s who” list of socialist and communist organizations in America. So through the Obama, synonymous with Chicago, political machine and through his own vocal support for the ideals of the OWS movement, before it fizzled into obscurity, we find Obama stoking the fires of class warfare. Obama and his minions seized on the momentum of the OWS movement and began to address the populist, but socialistic, theme of “the wealthiest Americans don’t pay their fair share”. If one cares to remember, the initial focus of the OWS movement was directed against the government bailout of the financial sector and did not get shifted to wealthy Americans until it was repeatedly addressed by the Obama administration. They had begun to use the tried and true propaganda tool so familiar in Nazi Germany, tell a lie often enough and people begin to believe it.
Obama’s quest for absolute power rivals that of any dictator we have observed in the modern era. It is impossible for him to achieve his ultimate goal without re-election so we enter the arena of racial divide which continues even today as Republicans are accused of racism for expecting U.S. Attorney General Holder to testify truthfully before Congress and comply with a Congressional subpoena. Each and every one of his steps has been a carefully orchestrated plan to remain in power regardless of the damage done to our Nation.
His statements concerning the Trayvon Martin shooting incident in Florida fueled racial strife, basically condemning George Zimmerman’s actions before the facts were even known, thereby convicting him in the court of public opinion and setting the stage for, and tacitly approving of, civil unrest. His recent Executive Order granting amnesty to illegal immigrants was not done because as he stated “it was the right thing to do” but rather to curry favor with the Hispanic population. Even as recently as the fall of 2011 Obama stated “This notion that somehow I can just change the laws unilaterally is just not true. We live in a democracy,” revealing that he was aware he was issuing an edict instead of using the legislative process as designed by our Constitution. Without the support of the African-American and Hispanic voters Obama is well aware he cannot be re-elected.
In a nutshell, Obamacare with its contraception mandate was enacted to garner support from lower income voters, many of whom are without insurance or not insurable, and lower income women voters. The Executive Order on immigration was enacted to increase support within the Hispanic community, which are an important voting block in the battle ground states. Even though his faithful supporters in big labor were against this he views them as inconsequential now that there has been a public backlash against unions and their benefits.
Obama coming out in support of gay marriage was a tactic to elicit support from the gay and lesbian community and younger voters who support the initiative. So one can easily see the careful calculations involved in these decisions. He was not concerned with alienating Evangelical voters, as they are a strong GOP voting block, and was not deterred by the prospect of losing some African-American votes as he feels they will vote along racial lines as long as they are convinced the GOP is racist.
He is employing nothing more that the old tactic of divide and conquer against the citizens of the United States. His willingness to employ the Executive Order to implement his plan, while bypassing Congress, shows his utter contempt for the legislative process and our established governmental structure. Looking into the future, leading up to the election, and I hope I am totally wrong on this accord, as his last effort to stay in power in a close election race, I see Obama involving us in a military conflict in either Syria or, most likely, Iran. The hopes here would be for such a conflict to invoke national unity and rally support behind the institution that is the Presidency and therefore ensure his re-election.
