No H8? Really?

Many on the left said their speech was hateful. Ponder that. For a company to say that “we believe in traditional Christian Family Values” to be hateful or be classified as hate speech under current hate speech laws anywhere on earth would mean you live in the Twilight Zone. Oddly, even Fox News anchor Shepard Smith got in on the action calling it “National Intolerance Day.” Of course this is not a surprise from the left, but let’s break it down into simpler terms and try to make sense out of where the left finds hate speech in the statement made by Dan Cathy, CEO of Chick-fil-A, and why this is such a big deal….or if it is even a big deal at all.

First of all, the ongoing assault on Christians and Jews from the left is well documented, so I will leave that to you to research. One can find attacks from every left-wing organization on the Ten Commandments in courts, to nativity scenes on library lawns across the country, to the line in the Pledge Of Allegiance, “one nation under God.” That is easy-so have at it.

More importantly, let’s talk about the fact that if you don’t agree with the left, you are a hater, a bigot, or both, regardless of the argument topic, but especially where the “LGBT” issue lies. The fact that there is a moniker like “LGBT” should tell you that this Astro Turfing and full on PR campaign was hatched in a back office somewhere in the lefty-sphere. At some point, the left decided that the gay issue was going to become a front and center part of their crushing of the American culture and heritage. The left have engaged in a full on push of their gay agenda upon Americans via every media possible. Its on the cover of every magazine emanating from N.Y. and Hollywood. It is on every soap opera, in every movie, and on every prime-time television show. The news anchors talk about it constantly-it is their most vehement argument against the conservative side of the street. I for one am tired of hearing about it daily. Moreover I am tired of having to explain it to my sons, both of whom are starting to realize their sexuality. The “normalization” of homosexuality could be a very confusing thing for young boys/men who are discovering themselves. If Hollywood, kid’s shows, and the President of the United States talk about it constantly, the young people are going to think they are odd men/women out if they are heterosexual, due to the constant haranguing of the left!

Now, this is not to say that I have a problem with gays, because I don’t. After 30 plus years in the entertainment business, I have many friends and colleagues who are gay, and I am a live and let live kind of guy. But, just as I don’t like to hear men talk about the women they have slept with, I prefer not to hear them talk about the men they have slept with, etc. I believe that sexuality is private. I don’t talk with my friends about my wife and I and our personal activities. In fact, all my friends know about my wife and I privately is that we have had intercourse at least twice, as we have two children!

So, we have established my thoughts on the bedroom. Let’s talk about the left’s thoughts on the same. Even though the left knows that the percentage of humans who are homosexual is under 10%, they have pushed the subject matter into every media they produce. One cannot turn on the television without it being the subject. One cannot read a newspaper, a text book, a magazine, or turn on their computer without it being front and center. Now, if they wanted the gay issue to be truly normalized, would it be in 100% of every media? Would they march every year on the same day wearing leather chaps with nothing but a thong on underneath? Would they want to be so “in your face” as to try to shock middle America with it? No they would not.

This is not about normalization. It is about shaming middle America into acceptance. It is about forcing acceptance of behavior that is clearly outside the traditionally accepted norm. For people of faith this is a big deal. One should never conflate acceptance with tolerance. Most Christians and Jews (at least the ones I know) are tolerant of gays and harbor no hatred of them. Face it, it is hard to hate Ellen Degeneres, Elton John, Freddie Mercury or Neil Patrick Harris. I have heard that Elton can be a bit cranky at times but overall these are nice people and worthy of respect for what they have accomplished. Besides, hating anything will wear you out as hate is a very powerful emotion. Most people just don’t have the time or energy to invest.

But, while the vast majority of Americans are tolerant of gays, and the gay lifestyle, acceptance is something that must be earned. Attempting to force a radical agenda on the American people is not how you gain their acceptance especially when 80% of Americans claim to be Christian. This radical agenda is one that is outside the mainstream and is an attempt to culturally change America. While most Christians and Jews are tolerant of gays, the gay community must understand (and tolerate) the fact that our Holy scriptures categorize homosexuality as a form of moral turpitude. Once moral turpitude is reached, it is much easier for the government to work their magic and go full-on communist.

If you are a student of history, you will remember that Mr. Hitler himself used a similar plan to distract Germans, going so far as to suggest infidelity in marriage, and other moral indiscretions. This is not rocket science people! The left are using LGBT’s. This has never been more evidenced than in Mr. Obama’s change of heart where gay marriage is concerned. The gays involved in pushing this radical agenda are just what Josef Stalin used to refer to as useful idiots. They think the Democrats are really behind them! In fact, the Democrats, who really are not Democrats at all, are just using them as a head-fake, while they work their true agenda. Gays are all too eager to indulge their new knights in shining armor, go along with the sudden love fest for them, and do the DNC’s bidding, all the while failing to realize the left are in bed with Muslims. And no one hates gays more than Muslims, not even the Westboro Baptist Church!

The gay culture is the perfect vehicle for the Democrats to push our country further into a lack of culture, morals, and family values. And it saddens me that the gays are such an easy mark for these evil reprobates. At a time in America where there is desperation abounding, there should be unifying talk rather than hateful attacks. Were the gay movement to want to integrate into normalcy, they would not be marching dressed as sex toys, and tweeting to Brad Pitt’s mother calling her the “C” word. That is not language indicative of someone who is looking for legitimacy or respect. That is language indicative of someone who has been scammed, and who has been told that their unnatural behavior is perfectly normal. The word dupe comes to mind. These folks don’t get that our country is buttoned down. Our country is based on family values. The way to try to fit into that mold is not to demand that you are not hated, and then tweet the “C” word to an older Midwestern woman who was simply standing up for family values. The way to her heart is to show her that there are more similarities than differences. Problem for H8 and other LGBT groups is they have apparently been lead to believe by their DNC overlords that the only way to get the attention of someone like Brad Pitt’s mom, in rural Missouri, is to shock her, and call her despicable names. Expressing one’s First Amendment Rights is not just a right, it is the duty of every American, and comparing Mrs. Pitt’s expression of those rights to the folks from H8, shows that civility is not something the left believes in, which brings me to my last point.

Today Chick-fil-A had a boom in business, not because America is made up of people who hate other Americans. It happened because Americans love their freedoms. Americans love their ability to walk down the street, speak their mind and not be taken off to a gulag, or to be shot and buried in a mass grave in the woods, as some 70 million Russians did under Josef Stalin. Many were killed because they were gay! Neither Dan Cathy, nor Brad Pitt’s mother, nor Mitt Romney ever made any statement that would call for the death of gays. But, friends of the DNC do daily. In the whole of the Middle East, it is against the law to be gay. In many countries there, if you are found to be gay, you are executed. The Muslim Brotherhood, who are deeply entrenched in the Obama administration, believe in a global Caliphate which will be ruled by strict Sharia Law, which calls for the execution of all gays. The hate that spews forth from the left daily is unabashed, and stated in no uncertain terms. If you don’t believe in gay marriage, you deserve to die of cancer (Roseanne Barr said that). If you don’t believe in gay marriage you should die you filthy “C” word (someone from the anti-hate group H8 said that). I have yet to hear any of my fellow conservatives say anything other than “I don’t believe in gay marriage,” where the gay agenda is mentioned, and frankly, that is not hateful at all. That is a statement of opinion. Yet, they are labeled hateful, and deserving of death.

Today, Americans stood up to the bully-left and showed their true colors. They will always stand by fellow Americans who are exercising their right to free speech. They would have done so were Chick-fil-A run by a straight or gay person. It wasn’t a show of hatred. It was a show of love for country – a country under attack by a radical left who will say and do anything to distract the American electorate while they rearrange the deck chairs on this swiftly sinking Titanic. The question I have for Shepard Smith and others who say that I am intolerant is simple: “Why are you so intolerant of my right to free speech, yet you force your opinion on me every minute of every day of my life in one form of media or another, and do you really think that is a good way to get me to see anything your way?”

Meantime, while all this hoopla is going on, we have four aircraft carriers in the vicinity of Iran, we have an unemployment rate of 8.2%, the President has asked government contractors to violate labor law and hide impending layoffs from their employees so they are caught off guard and don’t have the opportunity to prepare their families for the loss of their jobs, and our GDP is the lowest and slowest it has been since The Great Depression. Everyone in America is falling for the ruses of the Marxists who are here to destroy our country, our way of life, and ultimately pit us against each other. It is time for us all to wake up. The end is near and we are sitting by and watching it happen without so much as a whimper!
