I would really like to know who wrote Governor Romney’s material for this function. It was some of the best standup comedy I’ve seen in quite some time, delivered flawlessly and with aplomb by Mr. Romney. Moreover, his closing remarks showed a level of grace and class that has been sorely missing for these last 4 years. I hate to say this for fear of sounding “Chris Mathewsy” but Governor Romney sounded positively Reaganesque to me. Not since “The Gipper” have I seen this type of good natured humor from a president….sorry, presidential candidate. Mitt was not my first choice for president but the more I see of him and the more I hear him speak and the more I learn about him, the more I like him. I think that this is the right man at the right time.
