American Independence

On the 4^th of July, I have but a few points to make. Two hundred and thirty or so years ago, a bunch of very brave men and women decided they had experienced enough of the British Crown’s imperialism and declared independence from Great Britain. In doing so, they knew a war would ensue, but the promise of freedom from the taxation of the Crown was too much to ignore. So they fought. In doing so, many Americans died.

Since then, right or wrong, our military has fought where ordered on all continents, except Australia. We have given the lives of countless Americans to the cause of freedom. In fact, we have given so many, there are thousands of Veterans’ cemeteries around the country, and on many of those other continents we sent our men and women to fight on.

Today, our independence is so threatened, we are but months away from losing our sovereignty. Many don’t know what the Obama Administration is trying to back-door on the American people, but Hillary Clinton has already committed fully to the Law Of The Sea Treaty, with the first $2 Billion and Obama has yet to sign the Treaty, and our Congress has yet to ratify it. Both the signature and ratification are requirements under the Constitution that those brave souls who fought for our independence wrote to protect us from Totalitarian regimes. Furthermore, in committing to the “LOST” Treaty (a fitting acronym indeed), Mrs. Clinton offered up $98 Billion more of our tax dollars, to be doled out to third world countries, without our intervention, by the UN as they see fit.

I don’t know about you, but that seems like a cessation of our independence to a global body (The United Nations). Additional to that, Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton are in the process of giving your Second Amendment Rights to the UN as well, in the UN Small Arms Treaty, which they intend to agree to, and enact, also before Congressional Ratification of the treaty. The “Fast And Furious” set up that was perpetrated by Attorney General Eric Holder, and President Obama was a precursor to the treaty. They enacted it, as is evidenced in Emails in Rep. Darrell Issa’s possession, to further their cause and to lobby for major gun control and/or confiscation.

Right now, there is a Democrat next door to you, or down the block who knows nothing of these treaties, of the Obama Administration’s intention to sign them, or of the coming dissolution of his/her rights under the Constitution of The United States of America. In fact, they probably have heard nothing about them. The Main Stream Media has made no mention of the Un-Constitutional distribution of your tax dollars to the UN without Ratification, because they are in on the con. So, as you go out this 4^th of July, please call to your Liberal friends’ attention the fact that the guy they back is actually here to take their rights away as well-not just yours! There are a lot of Liberals who are following the DNC in lock-step because they are unaware that it has been infiltrated by those who would see America on her knees.

Celebrate our independence today, because it may well be the last time you are truly independent, should Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton have their way. Celebrate it because so many brave men and women have sacrificed so much so that you and I may be truly free, unlike any other country on earth. Celebrate it because your country needs to re-learn what the 4^th of July means. It means freedom from the tyrannical rule of those who would kill us all, either physically, financially, or by theft of our independence. Celebrate it because every 4^th of July since 1776, there have been fireworks that symbolize the fight we put up against the British, so early in our country’s existence, with so little, but won because we are Americans. And by God we will fight to the bitter end to maintain the freedom that so many sacrificed so much, so that we may enjoy it.

While you are at it-seek out a Veteran or an active duty service member and thank them. Thank them for the sacrifice they make daily so that you may be free. Thank them for standing post in the rain, snow, blistering heat, or out at sea, so that you may kiss your family goodnight tonight, knowing that stormtroopers won’t be taking you away in the dead of night. In fact, go to the website of a Veterans’ foundation and make a ten dollar donation. Those men and women may be standing between you and a tyrant in the very near future, closer to home than you think.
